In this course, by examining some topics on tourism from the perspective of Environmental Sociology, students deepen their understanding of the relationship between tourism and local communities.
This course takes some topics on tourism from research in Environmental Sociology, landscape preservation, and, particularly, from railway construction.

環境社会学の視点から観光と環境に関わる諸問題について考察し、観光と環境、地域社会の関わり方への理解を深めます。とくに、持続可能なまちづくりについての理解を深めます。
In this course, by examining some topics on tourism from the perspective of Environmental Sociology, students deepen their understanding of the relationship between tourism and local communities.
景観の保存に関するものと、鉄道に関するものを中心に、環境社会学の研究の中から、観光と持続可能なまちづくりに関わりの深いものを取り上げます。
