By consciously using travel writing that places importance on rhetoric emphasizing literacy, and reconsidering our enjoyment of travel, we will consider behaviors that drive consumption of tourism.
The development of ICT has increased the number of people who send and share travel articles, but acquiring knowledge of travel writing, learning and sharing travel experiences can increase one’s own pleasure in travel, becoming an element that invites others to travel. After deconstructing elements of the trip, instructor will introduce basic knowledge and expressions aiming for the students to be able to summarize them in attractive expressions along with examples of travel writing.

リテラシーを重視した修辞法に重きを置くトラベルライティングを意識し，活用することにより，旅の楽しみ方を改めて捉え直し，観光消費を牽引する作用を考察する。

ICTの発達により旅行記事を表し，発信する人々が増えているが，トラベルライティングの知識を得て旅の表現を学び，発信することは，自らの旅の楽しみを増大させるだけでなく，他の人々を旅へ誘う要素とも成り得る。旅の構成要素を分解し，それぞれの基礎知識と表現を紹介した上で，それらを魅力ある表現としてまとめられるよう講義するとともに，トラベルライティングの活用事例を紹介する。
