Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
1) Build on their learning in the spring semester by continuing to develop the sociological imagination to consider what makes a fair and sustainable society.
2) Develop skills to research topics of interest and disseminate well-researched information effectively
By continuing to read sociological literature, students learn about the relationship between identity and structural inequality. During field trips, students can apply classroom knowledge to research existing activities that seek to create a more diverse and sustainable society. By putting together research outcomes in creative formats, students build on their experience of disseminating information effectively. The main research interests are youth, gender, sexuality and multiculturalism, but others are also acceptable.

演習（２年）Aに引き続き、社会学的想像力を育み、公正で持続可能な社会の姿について模索する力をつける。関心のある事柄について調査し、その成果を効果的に発信するスキルを磨く。

引き続き社会学的な文献を読むことで格差の構造とアイデンティティの関係を学ぶ。学外学習では座学で学んだ知識を応用し、多様で持続可能な地域社会を作るための活動を調査する。調査結果は自由な形式でまとめ、情報を発信する経験を積む。主な調査関心は若者、ジェンダー、セクシュアリティや多文化共生の視点だが、それ以外も受け付ける。
