The learning goals of this seminar are as follows:
1)Students will be able to examine the relationship between environment and tourism from an anthropological perspective.
2)Students will be able to set their own research topics for writing a mini-ethnography.
3)Students will learn basic fieldwork methods in cultural anthropology.
In the third-year seminar, students will read literature related to environment and tourism in order to develop perspectives for analyzing their relationship from multiple angles. Students will also choose research topics based on their own interests, make research plans, and are scheduled to conduct joint fieldwork in Japan during the summer break.

本演習の到達目標は下記の通りである。
1）環境と観光の関係を、文化人類学の視座から専門的に検討できるようになる。
2）ミニエスノグラフィを執筆するための研究テーマを各自設定できるようになる。
3）文化人類学によるフィールドワークの技法を身につける。

演習3年では、環境と観光にかかわる文献の講読を通じて、その関係を多角的に分析するための視座を養う。また、各自の関心にもとづいたテーマを設定し、調査計画を立てたうえで、日本国内において夏季休暇中に共同でフィールドワークを行う予定である。
