【Course Objectives】

Based on perspectives from cultural anthropology and folklore, we will study specific phenomena in modern society, with the aim of utilizing the results of past learning in the College of Tourism seminars in your own graduation thesis.

【Course Contents】

Based on their research and survey plans crated in Seminar A, the class will mainly focus on students’ research presentations (results of fieldwork and progress of paper) and discussions. This course is aimed at providing guidance for the graduation thesis itself and is intended to contribute to the writing of the thesis. In the second half, in particular, we will adopt the so-called "writing-up seminar” format, whereby the author reads out the manuscript in progress, which then forms the basis of a discussion.
