Based on the results of the previous seminars, the objective is to gain a more comprehensive view of tourism as a social and cultural phenomenon.
Themes which tackle tourism phenomena from the perspective of “society” and “culture” can be set freely according to each issue of concern, and through researches on existing studies on the theme and independent field surveys, a comprehensive study of the relationship between tourism and “society and culture” will be investigated. Reports and presentations will be made one after another, followed by a discussion among the participants. The aim being to incorporate the results in the thesis.

これまでの演習の成果を踏まえ，社会・文化現象としての観光についてより総合的な視座を獲得することを目標とする。
Based on the results of the previous seminars, the objective is to gain a more comprehensive view of tourism as a social and cultural phenomenon.
観光現象を「社会」や「文化」という視点からとらえるテーマを各自の問題関心に応じて自由に設定してもらい，設定テーマに関する既存研究の文献研究や独自のフィールド調査を通して，観光と「社会」「文化」の関係を総合的に検討するため，報告，発表を順次行い，参加者相互に検討しあう。成果を論文の形にまとめることを目指す。
