Promoting understanding of fundamental knowledge and research in clinical psychology (for example, family, development and school), learning the basics of research methods and writing academic papers in the field of psychology. As a preparation for research for graduation thesis, further drafting research plan. As a summary of Seminars 1 and 2 on Psychology, writing seminar essay is the final goal of this class.
All students read about preceding studies on their preferred topics and fields for graduation paper (research), draft research plan, engage in discussion with the whole seminar (reading on preceding studies must be in English). They elaborate their research plan after discussion on the seminar, write seminar essay and conduct preliminary studies. Then, before submitting their seminar essay to the professor in charge, students have a chance to read and provide each other feedback on papers.

臨床心理学の領域（家族、発達、学校など）に関する基礎知識および研究について理解を深め、心理学研究法の基礎・心理学の論文の書き方を学ぶこと。卒業論文の研究の準備として、研究計画の立案を進めること。そして心理学演習1・2の集大成として、ゼミナール論文を執筆することを最終目標とする。

各自、卒業論文（研究）に向けて自身の関心領域・テーマの先行研究を講読して研究計画を立案し、ゼミ全体でディスカッションを行う（先行研究は、英語文献必須のこと）。ゼミでの検討により研究計画を精緻化し、それをもとにゼミナール論文執筆、および予備調査を行う。なお、ゼミナール論文は、指導教員への最終提出の前にゼミ内で学生同士が互いに読み合って修正点を指摘し合う機会を持つ。
