・Learn to understand the basic concepts and methods of community psychology.
・Learn to consider how we can create communities that regard the diversity and healthy living of each member from psychological perspective.
・Learn to understand important helping methods of community approach.
We are inevitably embedded in communities such as family, group, and society. Therefore it is essential to have a community perspective to understand and help people. Research and practice of community psychology emphasize the person-community interrelationships and fit. From that standpoint, we will consider about various problems occurred in our communies and discuss the ways to effective solution or prevention.

私たちは社会的存在であるゆえ、人間の心を理解し、心の健康を促進していくためには、人間を取り巻く家庭・集団・社会などの「コミュニティ」を視野に入れる必要がある。コミュニティ心理学は、人間の心理をコミュニティとの相互作用として理解するとともに、人間・コミュニティ双方の幸福が調和した状態を目指して研究と実践を行う。本科目ではそうした立場から、コミュニティで生起する問題を理解し、解決や予防に向けた方途を履修者とともに考える。
