To understand the significance, purpose, and ethics of qualitative research; to know the characteristics of various qualitative research methods; to be able to explain the theory of qualitative psychology; to be able to collect qualitative data; to learn the process of analyzing qualitative research; to deepen reflection on oneself in conducting qualitative research analysis; to summarize one's own research and write a report; to be able to work in a group and conduct practical training; and to develop the motivation and skills to link one's research to one's experiences in daily life and in field practice. This class is a class to learn research methods (i.e., methods) and to become aware of one's own style of practicing methods. Through homework assignments, practice of research methods, and experience with the analysis process, we hope to promote not only the acquisition of techniques, but also self-awareness. Observation and interview methods will be covered as specific qualitative research methods. The participants will be actually exposed to qualitative data or generate qualitative data, and analyze the obtained data. The analysis techniques will be explained in detail in separate steps, and the data will be compiled and converted into text. Students will also read texts and articles using qualitative research methods to gain an overview of various qualitative research methods. PowerPoint presentations and handouts will be used in lectures. In this class, students will discover, explore, and investigate issues on their own, and deepen their understanding of the issues. discussion and collaborative work are required in the group practice to obtain theories on a single topic.

この授業は研究法（つまり、方法）を学ぶ授業であり、方法を実践する自分自身のスタイルを自覚する授業でもある。授業で課される宿題や、研究法の実践、分析プロセスを体験することを通じて、技法の獲得のみならず、自己への覚知を促していきたい。具体的な質的研究法としては、観察法とインタビュー法を取り上げる。実際に質的データに触れ、あるいは質的データを生み出し、得られたデータの分析を行う。分析の技法はステップを分けて細かく解説し、データをまとめあげて文章化する作業を行う。また、テキストや質的研究法を用いた論文を読み、さまざまな質的研究法を概観する。なお、講義を行う際にはパワーポイントの提示や配布資料を用いる。なお、この授業では、学生自らが問題意識を持って課題を発見し、探求し、それを調べ、その課題を深めていく。1つのテーマについて理論を得るグループ実習においては、ディスカッション、協働作業が必要です。
This class is a class to learn research methods (i.e., methods) and to become aware of one's own style of practicing methods. Through homework assignments, practice of research methods, and experience with the analysis process, we hope to promote not only the acquisition of techniques, but also self-awareness. Observation and interview methods will be covered as specific qualitative research methods. The participants will be actually exposed to qualitative data or generate qualitative data, and analyze the obtained data.
