Learning about laws of behavior of non-human and human from the framework of The Experimental Analysis of Behavior as a representative viewpoint of modern psychology of learning. Students will understand the important phenomena, research methods and research questions in this field.
The Experimental Analysis of Behavior (EAB) has a clear conceptual framework which is based on a large number of precise experiments. At the same time, its findings and research methods are widely applied to the social issues in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). During class, students learn to explain basic ideas of EAB, which includes practical applications in ABA.

現代の学習心理学の代表的立場である実験行動分析学の枠組から，ヒトを含む動物の学習，すなわち行動変容に関わる法則と，それを明らかにする研究方法および重要な知見について学ぶ。

実験行動分析学は，厳密な実験研究に裏付けられた概念体系を持つと同時に，その知見が応用行動分析学において応用実践に直接的に活用され，実験室研究と応用実践が密接な関係を保ちつつ発展を続けている。授業では，応用行動分析学も視野に含めつつ，実験行動分析学の基本的概念について解説する。
