Being able to explain basic terminology and research methods of educational & school psychology. Being able to expand insights on the personal educational beliefs. Being able to make suggestions on education from the standpoint of psychology for psychosocial problems and essential support in the field of education.
What is education? We often use the word "education" in our everyday life. However, the educational beliefs differ from person to person, and so do their understanding of the meaning of "education". The research in educational psychology is the same, as the studies are also conducted in various ways. In this class we discuss the problems arising in educational facilities and their effects, think what it means to conduct research on "education" with methods of psychology, and provide basic explanation needed to conduct research.

教育・学校心理学の基礎用語・研究方法を説明することができる。教育現場において生じる問題及びその背景を説明することができる。教育現場における心理社会的課題及び必要な支援をふまえ，教育・学校について心理学の立場から提言することができる。

教育とは何だろうか。私たちは日頃から頻繁に「教育」という言葉を使用する。しかし人によって教育観が異なるため，それぞれの「教育」が意味しているものが異なっている。教育・学校心理学の研究もまた同じで，実にさまざまな研究が行われている。この講義では，教育現場において生じる問題及びその背景と教育現場における心理社会的課題及び必要な支援について論じる。そして「教育・学校」について心理学の方法を用いて研究するということはどういうことなのかを考え，実際に研究するための基礎を講義する。
