Language serves as a foundation of our everyday life, thoughts and cultures. In this course, basics of language principles, development and disorders will be introduced from broad aspects, including linguistics, psychology, education, medicine, etc. Based on the basic knowledge of language acquired through the course, students are expected to develop their own ideas on language learning, instruction, and/or intervention.

・授業は、講義を中心とするが、個人タスク等も適宜行う。

・言語の性質および心的処理について基礎的な知識を身につけることができる。
・言語の発達過程について基礎的な知識を身につけることができる。
・言語に関する障害の性質について基礎的な知識を身につけることができる。

言語は私たちの生活、思考、文化等を支える重要なツールである。本科目では、言語の基礎的な性質、発達過程、障害について言語学、心理学、教育学、医学等の観点から多角的に講義する。言語の基礎・発達・障害について、基本的な知識を身につけるとともに、言語の学習、指導、発達支援等について、そしてそれにより人の行動がどのように変化しうるのかについて、自分なりの視点を持てるようになることを目指す。
