This course is part of the curriculum designed for Certified Psychologists. It focuses on the area of applied psychology, particularly on the aspects related to mental health, illness, and disabilities. The key topics of study include:
1) The relationship between stress and psychosomatic diseases
2) Psychosocial issues and necessary support in medical settings
3) Psychosocial challenges and required support in health promotion activities
4) Psychological support needed during disasters and similar situations
The goal is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of these areas, equipping future psychology professionals with the knowledge and skills needed for effective practice.
From the perspective of Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, this course addresses various issues related to mental health in the fields of health care and medicine, spanning prevention, treatment of diseases, and rehabilitation. Assuming that the attendees will pursue careers in psychology, the course content will incorporate the latest practices and approaches in the field as much as possible. This is to ensure that students are equipped with current and relevant knowledge for their future professional activities.

本科目は公認心理師対応カリキュラムである。実践心理学領域の中でも、人の心の健康と疾病・障害に関連する分野を扱う。特に①ストレスと心身の疾病との関係、②医療現場における心理社会的課題及び必要な支援、③保健活動が行われている現場における心理社会的課題及び必要な支援、④災害時等に必要な心理に関する支援について焦点を当て、将来心理職として活動する際に十分な理解が得られることを目標とする。

行動療法・認知行動療法の立場から、予防から疾病の治療、リハビリテーションまで、保健および医療領域のメンタルヘルスに関する諸問題を取り上げる。聴講するものが将来心理職として活動することを前提に、実践に関しては可能な限り最新の取り組みを盛り込んだ内容とする。
