【Course Objectives】

The Seminar on English Expression in Psychology 2 (Intermediate-Advanced Level) is designed to build upon the skills acquired in the introductory course, focusing on enhancing the ability to discuss and present psychological research in English. Recognizing the importance of English as the primary language in global psychological research, this course is valuable for those seeking to improve their communication skills within and beyond Japan.

In this intermediate-advanced level course, students will develop their proficiency for oral presentations in English, suitable for academic contexts such as conferences and meetings. By the end of the semester, students will aim to deliver a well-structured 20-minute presentation on a psychological research topic of their choice. Additionally, the course will help to develop abilities to engage in discussions on various research topics.

The goal is to enable students to advance their abilities to articulate complex ideas in English, preparing them for professional academic interactions.
