【Course Contents】

This course is designed for students at intermediate to advanced levels of English who want to further develop their understanding of psychological research. Students will improve their ability to use key terminology in psychology and academic research and express their opinions confidently on research topics. The course focuses on deepening students’ understanding of research principles, experimental design, and critical evaluation of existing studies.

Each week, the course will explore a research topic through lectures, class discussions, and in-class exercises. Students will complete short reaction papers on selected topics and deliver a presentation (15-20 minutes each) on research topics of their choice. A class debate will also be held to encourage students to articulate and defend their viewpoints, enhancing critical thinking and academic discourse skills.

By the end of the course, students will have a stronger understanding of research practices, be familiar with current debates in psychology, and be better equipped to discuss their opinions and insights in English.
