The student's goal is to understand the connection between “perception” and “action” by animals, including humans, through experiments and fieldwork, and to know how to conduct experiments and fieldwork.
In classical psychology, the actions of animals, including humans, have been considered to be a certain response to a certain stimulus. In ecological psychology, on the other hand, information is embedded in the environment, and animals, including humans, are thought to “act” in order to “perceive” and “perceive” in order to “act”.
In this lecture, experimental practice and fieldwork will be conducted in order to understand the relationship between perception and action in a practical manner. Particular attention will be paid to the differences in exploration and action in the environment resulting from differences in physicality.

人を含めた動物による「知覚」と「行為」の結びつきについて実験・フィールドワークを通じて理解すること、また実験・フィールドワークの方法を知ることを目標とします。

古典的な心理学では、人を含めた動物の「行為」はある刺激(stimulus)に対するある反応(response)と考えられてきました。一方生態心理学では、環境に情報が埋め込まれており、人を含めた動物は、「知覚」するために「行為」し、「行為」するために「知覚」すると考えられています。
本講義では、知覚と行為の関係を実践的に理解するため、実験実習・フィールドワークを行います。特に、身体性の違いから生じる、環境の探索・行為の違いに着目します。
