【Course Objectives】

There are 2 big goals for this introductory discipline in the Department of Body Expression and Cinematic Arts. The academic goal is to teach the skills and knowledge, fundamental approaches for studying in the university, and to give understanding of the fundamentals and scope of academic knowledge that make up. The production practice goal is to teach about filmic and body expression from the point of view of each professor's specialization in the Department, giving basic ideas, structure, knowledge and techniques of each area.

【Course Contents】

The class has an omnibus structure, with the full-time teachers of the department rotating to give classes. Each class is given according to the methods and tasks useful for introducing the various specialization disciplines covered by the Department of Body Expression and Cinematic Arts. Academic lectures foster the basic approaches to the discipline and basic skills (reading, researching, writing, presenting, discussing). Production lectures teach basic ideas, structure and fundamental knowledge about movie production and body expression. (The first lecture is given for all the students, starting from the 2nd lecture they are given in separate classes. The syllabus differs between classes. Detailed explanation is given during guidance sessions.)
