This course introduces autopoiesis, a systems theory for understanding life and the relationship between living systems and mechanical systems.
What is life? Our understanding of life is being differently questioned today especially by technology and ecology. Explaining these problematics, this course develops the notion of autopoiesis as a perspective from within the living system.
