Using the loft space used in practical training and demonstrations by the Department of Body Expression and Cinematic Arts, students will cultivate multi-faceted viewpoints and images, before reaching basic technical knowledge of the performing arts, while considering each the relation of each section in space, and the skill of the method.
Workshops will use loft space and equipment, following the format of each instructor’s approach to the space. That the elements of “space”, “light”, “sound”, and “costume” in the performing arts concern not only performers, but are ultimately states of “sharing with the audience”, will be considered and applied in group work with each instructor. In addition, lectures will be given on the specific movements of the stage director, such as staff work in the stage performances, progress up to production, and explanation of safety aspects.

映像身体学科の実習・試演会で使用されるロフトの空間を生かし、舞台芸術の基礎的な技術知識にいたる前の多角的な視点/イメージを養い、各々のセクションで空間と関わりながらその技術の方法を思考する。

実際にロフトの空間や機材を使用し、ロフト空間にアプローチする各講師のワークショップ形式。舞台芸術における「空間」「光」「音」「衣装」が演者と共にあるだけでなく、演者も含め最終的には「観客と共にある」状態を、各講師においてグループワークで思考/試行する。また舞台上演におけるスタッフワークや本番までの進行、安全面の説明など、舞台監督の具体的な動きについてのレクチャーも行なう。
