The aim of this class is to acquire basic knowledge on the aging society, understanding what kind of society the aging society is, and relating this to our future lives through considering the framework of the aging society on a near-future. This subject is one of the faculty common subjects which form the core of our faculty’s philosophy and purpose.
In addition to identifying the issues involved with a transition to a society with a high percentage of elderly people (aged society, super-aging society), we consider what kind of people will be elderly people in the near future, and what measures and systems need to be implemented for these people. For this class, lectures will be given using textbooks and supporting materials (including video materials). Students will be asked to submit feedback forms with impressions and comments on lectures and materials on each occasion.

パワーポイントを使用した講義形式で、映像資料やWebサイト、新聞記事なども活用する。講義資料の配布、リアクションペーパーと質問の提出、レポート課題の告知・提出などは「Canvas LMS」を使用する。リアクションペーパーと質問については、次回授業時にフィードバックする。
この授業では、高齢社会とはいかなる社会であるのかを理解し、これからの自分の生き方と関連させて、近未来の高齢社会のシステムについて考察できるよう、高齢社会における基礎的知識を身につけることが目標である。この科目は、学部の理念、目的の習得に強く関連する学部共通科目のひとつである。

高齢者の割合が高い社会（高齢社会、超高齢社会）への移行に際して問題となる事象を明らかにするとともに、近未来の高齢者がどのような人々であり、彼（女）らのためにどのような施策やシステムが求められているかを考える。この授業では、教科書と補助資料（映像資料を含む）を用いて講義を行う。受講者には毎回、講義や資料に関するコメント・感想などのリアクションペーパーの提出を求める。
