In this course, students will learn to:
• Develop a deeper understanding of their own cultural identity and consider alternate views
• Develop a deeper understanding of intercultural communication
• Build confidence in expressing personal opinions and experiences
• Write a report
• Make a presentation
• Understand the elements of visual design
• Develop their autonomy, creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.
This course develops student confidence to use English to express themselves on a deeper and more meaningful level. Understanding a foreign culture helps us to understand our own culture. In this course, we will practice expressing ourselves through discussion, presentation, and writing, as we develop a clear understanding of our own identity and values.
