In this course, students will develop:
•a clear understanding of the support available through the Career Support Center
•an understanding of international employment opportunities
•an understanding of the application process for working abroad
•skills needed to successfully gain employment abroad
•English discussion ability
•presentation skills in English
•autonomy, creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration skills
This course provides students with a broad understanding of international employment. Students will interview a representative from the Career Support Office, and someone with experience working abroad. Students will become familiar with the opportunities available, and what is required for them to be a successful applicant. The course also develops students’ English ability in general, and more specifically, their ability to discuss their ideas in English, make an English presentation, prepare the application materials necessary, and sit for a job interview.

The language of instruction and output in this course is English. However, students do not need to worry about their English ability. University entrance level-English is adequate, and research can be conducted using Japanese or any other language.
本授業の指導および成果物は英語で行う。ただし、英語力を過度に心配する必要はない。大学入学試験レベルの英語力があれば十分であり、研究は日本語または他の言語を用いて行ってもよい。
