Learn the background theory of facilitation and practice that promotes consensus-building and cooperation in order to create emergent groups, organizations, and communities that draw out the individuality and abilities of each member to engage in activities voluntarily. Students will learn how to facilitate by exploring "new solutions and approaches" required in a modern society where the environment is volatile through experiencing both participants and planners/facilitaters.
After lectures on basic knowledge about facilitation, the types and techniques of facilitation will be introduced. Through the experiences, students will notice changes in themselves, relationships, and group dynamics, and based on that, think about required skills and attitudes as facilitators. In the second half of the course, they will have opportunities to plan and implement facilitation. Students' self growth is expected through the process of discovering the world of facilitation.

メンバー1人ひとりの個性や能力が活かされ自主的に活動に携わる創発的集団・組織・コミュニティーを作るために、合意形成や恊働を促進するファシリテーションの背景知識を知り実践する。環境の変わりやすい現代社会における「新しい解き方・取り組み方」を探究し、参加者及び企画者/実施者の双方を体験をすることにより、基礎のファシリテーションができるようになる。

ファシリテーションに関する基礎知識を講義した後に、ファシリテーションの種類や技法を紹介する。体験を通して自分自身や関係性、グループダイナミクスの変化に気づくと共に、それに基づいてファシリテーターとしての技術・心構え・あり方を考える。後半には、学生自身がファシリテーションを企画・実施する機会を設ける。また、ファシリテーテーター的態度の体験を通じて、学生の成長を促す。
