Acquiring a comprehensive view of society. Grasping the image of sociology.
(In addition, it is preferable that "Sociology 1" and "Sociology 2" are taken in order so that lectures can advance progressively.
While introducing the basic concepts and thinking methods of sociology, we will gain perspectives to grasp contemporary society. “Society" has not always been as it is now, and a history exists. We will consider modern society based on such changes in "society".

社会学の基本的な概念や思考方法を紹介しながら、現代社会を把握する視点を獲得します。「社会」は今あるものが昔からずっとそうだったわけではなく、そこには歴史が存在しています。そうした「社会」の歴史、すなわち変化や変動を踏まえ、現代社会を考察していきます。社会の「あたりまえ」の価値観を疑う視点を身につけます。
