This course explores the characteristics of elderly individuals and the challenges of an aging society with declining birthrate, examining the laws, policies, services, organizations, and methods for elderly support within their historical context.
This course examines laws, policies, and services related to elderly care from the perspective of protecting elderly people's lives and human rights. Students will deepen their understanding of the characteristics and current state of elderly populations and aging societies with declining birthrates, including the challenges faced by elderly individuals and their families and their underlying causes. Using specific case studies, the course explores problem-solving methods and approaches to individual support.

This course explores the characteristics of elderly individuals and the challenges of an aging society with declining birthrate, examining the laws, policies, services, organizations, and methods for elderly support within their historical context.
高齢者の生活と人権を守るという視点から高齢者に関する法律や制度，具体的サービスについて学ぶ。また，高齢者や少子高齢社会の特徴と現状，高齢者や家族が抱える問題とその背景について理解を深め，問題解決の方法や個々人への支援のあり方について具体的事例を使いながら学ぶ。
