In this course, students will examine the concept of poverty and gain an understanding of the living conditions of people experiencing poverty. The course also explores support systems for people in poverty, including public assistance programs such as the Public Assistance System, as well as broader social security and social welfare systems.

本講義では、貧困の概念、貧困状態にある人々の生活実態を理解し、貧困状態にある人々に対する支援制度―生活保護制度など社会保障制度や社会福祉制度について学ぶ。
