This subject is one of a group of subjects for deepening the understanding of theory, system, and services required for social workers specializing in interpersonal support. Understand the current situation of women's issues based on sexual discrimination and elucidate the role of social welfare for solving them from the perspective of women's welfare. In addition, acquire skills necessary for supporters of community welfare.
Discrimination suffered by women, social disadvantage, and various problems arising from this are collectively referred to as “women's issues.” At present, efforts are being made on a global basis to resolve these issues. These lectures review the current status and future of women's welfare, as well understanding of modern society where women's welfare is required. Students will consider a society without violence and consider ways for living happily.

この科目は、専門的対人援助職であるソーシャルワーカーに必要な「理論・制度・サービスの理解」を深めるための科目群のひとつである。
性差別を基底とした女性問題の現状を理解し，その解決に向けた社会福祉の役割を女性福祉の視点から解明する。また，支援者に必要なスキルを修得する。

女性ゆえに被る差別，社会的不利益，そこから生じる諸問題を総称して「女性問題」といい，現代ではその解決への取り組みが地球的規模で進められている。本講義では，女性福祉が必要とされる現代社会の現状の理解とともに，女性福祉の実際と今後を展望する。又，暴力のない社会を構想し、私たちが幸せに生きる道筋を検討する。男性が抱える生きづらさ、性の多様性についても学ぶ。
