Understand the background and outline to the support of the mental health care and welfare, and consider this in relation to the practice of social work.
This class is a required designated course for the qualification to sit for the National Examination for Mental Health Workers.
The principles of mental health welfare will be discussed in relation to social exclusion and social barriers in relation to social work practice, and the class will be developed based on specific examples.
In this class, we hope that students who take the course will develop the ability to continue to think about relationships between people, regardless of their qualification as a “mental health worker”. Even for those students who do not aim to obtain qualifications, we would be grateful if they could acquire a perspective on “mental health and welfare,” which is indispensable in a society where people live with others.

本授業は精神保健福祉士国家試験受験資格取得のための必須指定科目である。
精神保健福祉の原理について、社会的排除と社会的障壁について、ソーシャルワーク実践と関連させながら、具体例を踏まえて授業を展開していく。
本授業では、受講した学生が「精神保健福祉士」という資格にこだわらず、人と人とのかかわりについて考え続ける力をつけていくことを目指していきたい。資格取得を目指さない学生であっても、人と人が生きる社会の中で、欠かすことができない「精神保健福祉」という着眼点を身に着けていただけたらありがたい。
