To study the history of the development of social welfare in other countries, particularly in the UK, and to develop the following skills.
1. To understand and explain the development of the history of social welfare in other countries.
2. To consider the impact of developments in social welfare in other countries on social welfare in Japan.
3. To be able to consider what social welfare is through studying the history of social welfare development.
This class is mainly lecture based.In addition to reviewing the development of social welfare in other countries, the presentation will also include the ｈistorical events behind these developments and the values of the times.

諸外国、特にイギリスにおける社会福祉の発達史を学ぶことによって、以下の力を養う。
１．諸外国における社会福祉発達史の展開を理解し説明できる。
２．諸外国の社会福祉の展開が日本の社会福祉に与えた影響を考察できる。
３．社会福祉の発達史を学び、社会福祉とは何かを考察できる。

本授業は主に講義による授業を実施する。諸外国における社会福祉の展開を確認することはもちろん、その背景にある社会の出来事や、その時代の価値観なども含めて紹介する。
