This class aims to :
(1) understand the overview of clinical geropsychology.
(2) evaluate the elderly from the viewpoint of psychological assessment (at the beginner's level).
(3) understand what kind of psychological support for the elderly.
This class consists of three learning topics. First is psychological aging, such as cognitive function, including attention, memory, and intelligence. Second is the assessment of the Elderly with psychological knowledge and using the psychological test. Third is the psychological support techniques for the Elderly and caregivers. Examples include reminiscence therapy, bedside counseling, and psychological education. In particular, the students will also study the psychological aspects of dementia, a typical mental disorder of the Elderly.

| 心理的アセスメントの演習（第11回）： 受講生が互いに簡便な認知機能検査を実施する |
授業前学習： 毎回の授業計画に挙げられた学習内容について予め調べ、質問事項を整理しておく。
授業後学習： 配布された資料および授業で扱った内容について復習し、ノートにまとめる。

本授業では以下を目的とする。
（1） 老年臨床心理学の概要を理解する。
（2） 心理学的アセスメントの観点から高齢者を評価することができる （初学者レベル）。
（3） 高齢者に対する心理的支援にはどのようなものがあるかを理解する。
This class aims to :

この授業は３つの学習内容から構成される。１つめは、注意、記憶、知能を含む認知機能などの心理的老化である。２つめは心理学的知見を用いて、また心理テストを用いて高齢者を査定することである。３つめは、高齢者や介護者への心理支援技術である。回想法、ベッドサイドカウンセリング、心理教育などが例に挙げられる。特に、高齢者の代表的な精神疾患である認知症についても、心理学的側面から学習する。
