Organize specific assistance and approaches for elderly welfare and learn about the details and current status of aid practice in various fields.
Learn the principles of welfare for the elderly, the needs of users, the institutional aspects of current welfare, the ethics and professional expertise required by professionals supporting care in the community. Then, learn how specific support is provided in various organizations that support the elderly, and understand the practice of welfare for the elderly. If appropriate, invite professionals who practice in the field.

高齢者福祉の具体的な援助と考え方を整理し，様々なフィールドでの援助実践の内容や現状を学ぶ。

高齢者福祉のあり方，利用者のニーズ，現在の福祉の制度的な側面，地域においてケアを支える専門職に求められる職業倫理，専門性等を学ぶ。その上で，高齢者を支援する様々な組織で具体的な援助がどのように行われているかを学び，高齢者福祉の実践について理解する。適宜，現場で実践をされている援助者をお呼びする。
