Deepening understanding of movements in the field of disability in international social development, and the efforts to realize rights of persons with disabilities. From the perspective of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, we will consider the roles of various supporters and disabled people themselves, and approaches outside of the welfare framework.
What is development, what is disability, and why are there challenges in dealing with disability-related issues? What kind of approaches are there, and who is development for? What issues does development deny, and what is the present situation and issues in developing countries? These will be investigated in group discussions with solutions and improvements proposed.

国際社会開発における障害分野での動き、障害者の権利の実現への取り組みについて理解を深める。障害者権利条約の視点を踏まえて、福祉の枠組みにとらわれない様々な支援者や当事者の役割やアプローチについて考察する。

開発とはなにか、障害とはなにか、なぜ障害という問題に取り組むのか、どのようなアプローチがあるのか、誰のための開発なのか、どんな課題が開発を拒むのか、途上国を中心に実際の現状と課題に触れ、グループディスカッション等を通して解決策や改善策を検討する。
