The aim of this course is to comprehensively acquire knowledge on supporting young children with disabilities.
This course introduces the characteristics of disabilities, ways to support children with disabilities and their families, and social supports. It provides not only academic knowledge but also practical insights. Students are expected to develop the ability to think independently and solve problems faced by children with disabilities.

幼児期・児童期を中心に障害のある子どもへの支援に関する知識を総括的に習得する。
The aim of this course is to comprehensively acquire knowledge on supporting young children with disabilities.
障害の特性、支援方法、家族支援、福祉サービスなどについて学ぶ。学術や制度の知識の獲得だけでなく、支援の現場の話を取り入れ、実際的な学習をする。到達目標として、自ら考え、問題解決できるようになることが求められる。
