1. Students will be able to acquire a systematic and comprehensive understanding of the social security system in Japan.
2. Students will be able to understand the historical development of contemporary social security systems.
3. Students will be able to examine and reflect on the challenges facing social security systems in contemporary society.
Building on what students have learned in Social Security Methodology, this course provides a systematic and comprehensive overview of Japan’s social insurance system as a whole. It also examines the historical evolution of social security systems in order to clarify their historical and contemporary significance. The course aims to equip students with the ability to think independently about the future design and direction of social security systems.

本講義では、社会保障総論における社会保険制度の基本的な仕組みの理解を基礎として、日本の社会保険制度の全体像を体系的に学ぶ。また、社会保障制度の歴史的変遷を学習し、今日の社会保障制度の現代的な意義を理解する。その上で、これからの社会保障制度のあり方を主体的に考えるための力を身に着けることを目指す。
