Students will learn the history of mental health welfare, as well as theories related to counseling support. In addition, we will specifically understand how to develop counseling support practices in the community.
Among the support skills related to mental health and welfare, we will focus on counseling support activities for people with mental illness, as practiced in the community, and about various projects and measures for residents. The teaching method will not be a one-sided lecture, but will be conducted in an interactive manner by utilizing various practical case studies, along with exercises to share opinions. This class is a mandatory subject for the National Psychiatric Social Worker Examination.

精神保健福祉の歴史と相談援助に関する理論を学ぶ。さらに、地域で実践されている相談援助の展開方法を具体的に理解する。
Students will learn the history of mental health welfare, as well as theories related to counseling support. In addition, we will specifically understand how to develop counseling support practices in the community.
精神保健福祉に関する援助技術のうち、特に地域で実践されている精神障害者等への相談援助活動や住民への各種事業・施策に関するテーマを中心とする。授業方法は一方的な講義形式ではなく、多様な実践事例や演習を活用して意見を出し合うなど双方向的なやり方で行う。なお、本授業は精神保健福祉士国家試験受験のための必須科目である。
