We will consider mental disorder rehabilitation as our own matter, not as someone else's, as a family member, as a fellow human being, to restore the lives of people with mental disorders and to restore their human rights. We hope that students will be able to understand the knowledge and skills necessary to achieve this, and to develop the habit of questioning their own views and attitudes, not only in order to work as a mental health worker, but also to live in a symbiotic society in cooperation with others.
Students will learn the theory of mental disorder rehabilitation systematically and practically.

Philosophy, definition, and basic principles of mental disorder rehabilitation
4) Contents and experiences of mental disorder rehabilitation programs

The lectures will be given mainly using PowerPoint presentations, but will also include many audiovisual materials and hands-on learning experiences. In addition, we plan to have guest speakers who are involved in the case and their family members appear in person or via ZOOM once each, depending on the situation, to directly interact with the participants and conduct classes. In the process, we would like to learn about the hardships caused by having psychiatric disorders and disabilities, and to think together about what we can do to regain our human rights and continue our recovery. The importance of self-help groups and groups in several psychiatric fields will be introduced during the lecture and the speakers of the people involved and their families.

ニュースや日常生活において見聞きする精神障害やメンタルヘルスに関する話題を意識し、自身で立ち止って考える習慣をつけてください。そして精神障害のみならず、当たり前に思いがちな事柄を、改めて問い直せるように、きちんと見、聴き、知り、考える姿勢を身につけられたらと思います。授業時間外の学習に関する指示は、必要に応じて別途指示します。

| その他授業で紹介します。 | |||||
①よりリアルに知ってもらうために、授業内で精神障害リハビリテーションやセルフヘルプグループのグループ体験を2～3回してもらいます。
②自らがどう感じ、考えているかを意識してもらうために、毎回テーマに沿ったリアクションペーパーを求めます。
ＷＲＡＰ体験の講義では実際にWRAPを行っている当事者の方を、精神障害者家族の講義では家族の方を招き、リアルな講義にしようと考えています。ゲストスピーカーの都合により、講義の順序が変わる場合があります。本科目は2022年度以前入学者については、精神保健福祉士資格取得のための科目です。しかし資格取得を考えていない方でも、知識がない方でも、共に暮らす者として知ってほしい内容であるため、精神障害やメンタルヘルスに関心のある方であれば、歓迎します。
他人事ではなく自分事として、家族として、仲間として、精神障害をもつ人の人生を取り戻し、人権を回復する精神障害リハビリテーションを考えていきます。人として共生社会で協働して生きていくため、自らの見方や姿勢を問い直す習慣ができたらと思います。

精神障害リハビリテーション論を系統的にかつ実践的に学びます。
①精神障害について
②精神障害者、精神障害者の家族の処遇の歴史
③精神障害リハビリテーションの理念、定義、基本原則
④精神障害リハビリテーションプログラムの内容、体験
主にパワーポイントを使用し講義を行いますが、視聴覚資料・体験学習も多くとりいれます。又ゲストスピーカーとして当事者の方やご家族の方に対面で、状況によってはZOOMでそれぞれ1回ずつ登場して頂き、直接やりとりをして授業を行う機会も予定しています。その中で精神科疾患や障害を抱えることによる苦労を知り、人権を取り戻し、リカバリーし続けるためにはどうしたらよいか、ともに悩み考えていきたいと思います。講義や当事者の方、ご家族の登壇の中で、セルフヘルプグループの重要性といくつかの精神分野のグループを紹介していきます。
