【Course Objectives】

The aim of this seminar is to integrate the knowledge and skills necessary for practicing social work, and to acquire the ability to conceptualize and theorize and systematize as professional social work skills.
(1) Understand the social work value norms required as Certified Social Worker and develop ethical judgment.
(2) Practical understanding of cross-disciplinary, generic, and integrated support, with a focus on people in need of assistance.
(3) Practical understanding of the objects and development processes, practical models and approaches of social work at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels.

【Course Contents】

This class is a designated subject for the National Examination for Certified Social Worker, and is compulsory subject for two consecutive classes for those who wish to take Fieldwork(practicum).
Utilize concrete examples to develop appropriate practices in Fieldwork(practicum).
Using case studies, we will conduct practical exercises by role-playing so that we can provide people in need of assistance with cross-disciplinary, generic, and integrated support.
In the case study exercises, students will receive practical instruction assuming specific social work situations and processes, and are instructed to develop appropriate practical models and approaches.
