This is an elective required course that is positioned at the core of education in the Department of Community Development. Based on each faculty member's research theme, students will read specialized literature, conduct fieldwork, and practice in the field in small classes.
The objective of this class is to develop the ability to critically examine violence and peace in everyday life from a gender perspective. The course focuses on the impact of military presence on local communities, analyzing the relationship between gender and violence while exploring issues of peace and security.
Through engagement with international civil society movements working toward gender equality and peace, students will also build the capacity to actively contribute to a more peaceful society.

フィールドワークに際しては、交通費（実費）が必要となる場合がある。
Students are expected to complete the assigned readings in advance, actively participate in class discussions, and take part in fieldwork activities.
Please note that the schedule for fieldwork may be subject to change depending on the circumstances of host organizations, and activities may take place outside regular class hours.
The possibility of conducting fieldwork on weekends will be discussed and decided in consultation with enrolled students.
コミュニティ政策学科での教育の中心に位置づけられる選択必修科目である。各教員の研究テーマに即して、少人数クラスで専門文献の講読や現地調査、現場実習などを行う。
本クラスの目標は、「ジェンダー」の視点から、私たちの日常に存在する暴力や平和を問い直す力を養うことである。特に、駐留軍隊が地域コミュニティに与える影響に焦点を当て、ジェンダーと暴力の関連性を学び、平和・安全保障を多角的に考察する。
また、ジェンダー平等や平和の実現を目指す国際市民社会運動との交流を通じて、平和な社会の構築に、主体的に関わる力を育む。
