This class aims to acquire a deep understanding of poverty and its countermeasures in contemporary Japan by examining them from a historical perspective.

本講義では、日本の貧困・生活困窮をより身近な社会問題として考察できるよう、映画やドキュメンタリー、手記などの映像・文書資料を活用します。また、授業内では学生同士のディスカッションの場を設けます。講義テキスト・資料に対する疑問点や考察を自身で組み立て、説明できるように準備してください。

⑴ 日本における生活困窮の実態について理解を深める。
⑵ 貧困・生活困窮を捉える理論について、その概要と特徴を説明できる。
⑶ 生活困窮に対する政策（生活保護法、生活困窮者自立支援法等）について理解を深める。

本講義は現代日本における貧困・生活困窮の様相とその対応策について、歴史的背景を含めて検討することで、深い理解の獲得を目指します。
