In this seminar, students will research social policies to solve labor problems such as long working hours and women's activities, and social problems such as childcare, nursing care, and poverty.Through research activities such as statistical data analysis and fieldwork, students will improve their skills for analysis, discussion, and consideration.
Students read literature on several themes and deepen their interest in the issues by conducting statistical analysis and fieldwork on their own.On the other hands, each seminar student proposes a research theme, and the students come together to form a research group on a common theme.The progress of the group research is presented several times in the seminar and discussed among the students.

コミュニティ政策学科での教育の中心に位置づけられる選択必修科目である。各教員の研究テーマに即して、少人数クラスで専門文献の講読や現地調査、現場実習などを行う。
このゼミでは長時間労働や女性活躍などの労働問題、子育てや介護、貧困などの社会問題を解決するための社会政策を研究します。統計データ分析やフィールドワークなどの研究活動を通して分析力、考察力、ディスカッション能力を高めることを目指します。
In this seminar, students will research social policies to solve labor problems such as long working hours and women's activities, and social problems such as childcare, nursing care, and poverty.Through research activities such as statistical data analysis and fieldwork, students will improve their skills for analysis, discussion, and consideration.
いくつかのテーマに関して文献を読み、自分たちでも統計分析やフィールドワークを行って問題関心を深めます。同時に各ゼミ生が研究テーマを提案し、共通するテーマで集まって研究グループを形成します。グループ研究の経過をゼミ内で何度か発表し、ゼミ生同士で議論し合います。
