コミュニティ政策学科選択必修科目 2023年度以降入学者対象 |
This is a required elective course that is positioned at the heart of education in the Department of Community Policy Studies. In small classes, students will read specialized literature, conduct field surveys, and undertake on-site training in line with each faculty member’s research theme. Students will understand the issues facing people living in the community, examine the human rights policies of local governments, and report on them in a journalistic spirit.
In this seminar, students will investigate and research how local governments deal with human rights issues faced by people living in the area. Students will pretend to be journalists, researching the parties involved in each issue and the issues faced by local governments, and writing a news article about them.
In the fall semester, students will carry out group work for each issue, conducting interviews with the parties involved and local government policy makers. Students will become journalists, interviewing the parties involved, picking up voices that cannot be voiced, and researching local government policies to address these issues.
For their final report, students will write a news article based on the set topic.

コミュニティ政策学科での教育の中心に位置づけられる選択必修科目である。各教員の研究テーマに即して、少人数クラスで専門文献の講読や現地調査、現場実習などを行う。
本クラスの目標は、地域に暮らす人々の課題を把握し、地方自治体の人権政策を調べ、ジャーナリズム精神に基づき調査報道する。

本ゼミでは、地域に暮らす人々が抱える人権課題に対し、地方自治体がどのように対処してきるのかを調査・研究します。ゼミ生は、ジャーナリストになったつもりで、個々の課題に関わりのある当事者と地方自治体が抱える課題を調べ、報道記事にする。
秋学期は、個々の課題ごとにグループワークを実施し、当事者や地方自治体の政策担当者へのインタビュー調査を進める。セミ生はジャーナリストとなって、当事者にインタビューし、声にできない声を拾い上げ、地方自治体の対処政策を調べる。
最終リポートは、設定した課題に沿って報道記事を作成する。
