【Course Objectives】

This course aims to teach students how lifelong learning (LLL) programs benefit Japanese society.

•Students will be able to research and discuss the history, policy and theory that supports lifelong learning in Japan.
•Students will be able to effectively review research sources.
•Students will be able to write Cornell Notes.
•Students will develop their autonomy, creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.

【Course Contents】

This course focuses on lifelong learning in Japan. Students are required to research a specific topic on Lifelong Learning in Japan and then give a presentation.

The language of instruction and output in this course is English. However, students do not need to worry about their English ability. University entrance level English is adequate, and research can be conducted using Japanese or any other language.
