In this course, students will:
•research child abuse prevention
•be able to effectively review research sources
•develop their general English ability
•write an academic paper in English
•present their findings in English
•develop their autonomy, creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration skills
The language of instruction and output in this course is English. However, students do not need to worry about their English ability. University entrance level English is adequate, and research can be conducted using Japanese or any other language.
Every child has the right to receive a proper upbringing and to be guaranteed healthy growth, development, and independence in accordance with the spirit of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Preventing child abuse, which affects the healthy development of children, is an important issue that the entire society must address. This course looks at the causes and effects of child abuse, awareness-raising activities, and also critically analyses current solutions.

このコースの指導とアウトプットは英語です。しかし、学生は英語力を心配する必要はありません。大学の入学試験レベルの英語で十分であり、日本語または他の言語を使用して研究を行われます。

全てのこどもは、「児童の権利に関する条約」の精神にのっとり、適切な養育を受け、健やかな成長。発達や自立が図られることなどを保障される権利があります。こどもの健やかな成長に影響を及ぼす児童虐待の防止は社会全体で取り組むべき重要な課題です。このコースでは、児童虐待の原因と影響について考察します。また、意識向上活動を検討し、現在の解決策を批判的に分析します。
