1) To understand the major debates surrounding welfare.
2) To learn about various approaches to welfare challenges.
3) To develop the ability to connect individual interests with the issues and approaches covered in lectures for further consideration.
This course will cover fundamental perspectives and theories in welfare sociology while examining themes that have accumulated significant research as important phenomena in recent years. Such themes include welfare regimes, the Self-Reliance Support System for the Economically Disadvantaged, care, and child poverty. Additionally, this course will cover support practices for individuals and issues that fall through the cracks of the system. However, the course themes and approach will be flexible, adapting to student preferences and other factors.

本講義は、主にパワーポイントを用いた講義を中心とする授業形態です。講義の前までに、配布資料をアップロードします。リアクションペーパーでコメントや質問を受け、次回の講義でフィードバックを行います。
1）福祉をめぐる主要な議論を理解すること。
2）福祉の課題に対する様々な取り組みについて学ぶこと。
3）各自の個別的関心と、講義で取り上げる課題や取り組みをつなげて考察できるようになること。

福祉社会論では、福祉社会学の基本的視角や理論を学びつつ、重要な現象として研究蓄積のあるテーマを取り上げます。そのようなテーマには、福祉レジーム、生活困窮者自立支援制度、ケア、子どもの貧困などがあります。また、制度のすき間などからこぼれ落ちる対象や問題群に対する支援実践について取り上げます。受講生の希望などに応じて授業のテーマや進め方は柔軟に対応する予定です。
