Humans are said to be social animals. We interact with others in various groups and organizations, such as family, friends, in school and in company relationships. And so, in order to get along with others better, which perspectives help us to understand people? In this class, we will introduce “development”, “social” and “clinical” approaches from the fields of psychology, with the aim of cultivating the ability to objectively understand humans.
Psychology is the study that aims to understand human behavior and the psychological processes behind it. In these lectures, we will discuss human developmental processes (interpersonal relationships, personality formation, cognitive development etc.), factors affecting relationships with others and groups, as well as approaches to interpersonal support, and study how to understand and relate to others.

人間は社会的動物であると言われます。私たちは、身近なところでは家族、友人、そして学校や会社の人間関係など、様々な集団・組織において他者と接しています。では、他者とより良く関わるために、どのような視点で人を理解すればよいのでしょうか。この授業では、「発達」「社会」「臨床」の心理学的な知見を紹介し、人間を客観的に理解する能力を養うことを目標とします。

心理学は、人の行動とその背後にある心理過程を理解することを目指す学問です。本講義では、その中でも、人の発達のプロセス（対人関係や人格形成、認知の発達など）、他者や集団との関わりに影響する要因、そして、対人援助のアプローチについて取り上げながら、他者をどのように理解し、関わるかについて、学んでいきます。
Psychology is the study that aims to understand human behavior and the psychological processes behind it.
