In this class, we will use various case studies to consider what specific issues need to be solved and why such expectations have been placed on social education.
The learning objectives are as follows:
・Be able to explain the background to contemporary issues such as poverty and disabilities.
・Be able to explain the role that social education should play in community development.
・Be able to describe how collaboration and cooperation can be used to solve contemporary issues.
In this class, students will use specific case studies to learn about the role that social education plays in community development and addressing everyday difficulties.
Participatory learning activities such as workshops and group discussions will be held as appropriate within the class.

社会教育は、さまざまな現代的課題の解決に対する期待が向けられてきました。この授業では、具体的に解決すべき課題としてどのようなものがあるのか、また、なぜ社会教育がこうした期待を向けられるようになったのかを、さまざまな事例を通して考えていきます。
到達目標は、次のとおりです。
・貧困や障害などの現代的課題が、どのような背景をもつのか説明できる
・社会教育が地域づくりにおいてどのような役割を果たすべきかを述べられる
・現代的課題の解決に向けた、連携・協同のありかたについて述べることができる

「社会教育経営論2」では、地域づくりや生活上の困難に対し、社会教育がどのような役割を果たすのか、具体的な事例をもとに学びます。
授業内で、ワークショップやグループ討議など、参加型による学習を適時行います。
