Understand the history and structure of globalization, which is progressing in various phases of society, and acquire knowledge about global social problems and solidarity in global civil society to solve them.
In this class, we will confirm that various problems in modern life are occurring in the world, notice that major changes are occurring, and think about how to perceive and act on them. Overview of the definition and history of globalization, and the various phenomena and impacts of globalization such as politics, economy, culture, migration, information, and agrarian issues, as well as how people respond to them, such as with BOP business, CSR, and multiculturalism. By learning about cases in Africa, I would like to think together with the students about the direction of future responses, such as local economy and solidarity economy.

本授業では現代の生活上の様々な問題が世界で起こっていることを確認し、大きな変化が起こっていることに気付き、それをどのように捉え、行動していけばよいか考える。グローバリゼーションの定義、歴史を概観し、政治、経済、文化、人の移動、情報、農など様々なグローバル化の現象とその影響や、BOPビジネス、CSR、多文化主義などそれへの人々の対応について理解を深め、アフリカでの事例を学び、地域経済や連帯経済など今後の対応の方向性について学生と共に考えたい。
