The aim is for students to acquire the ability to present their own views on Local Government Policy problems and issues, gaining the basics of knowledge and thinking necessary for Local Government Policy understanding.
In the first half, students will learn the workings and thought underpinning policy, examining the basic theory and concepts regarding its making, implementation and evaluation. In the second half, lectures will develop to allow students to grasp more dynamically the actual state of local government policy, using concrete examples. The policy areas and case studies we will tackle will be decided by the tutor, but based on students' opinions.

目標は、自治体で行われている政策を理解する上で必要な知識・考え方の基礎を身につける事により、自治体政策の問題や課題に対する自らの見解を提示する能力の習得である。
The aim is for students to acquire the ability to present their own views on Local Government Policy problems and issues, gaining the basics of knowledge and thinking necessary for Local Government Policy understanding.
前半では、政策がどのような仕組みや考え方に基づいて、作られ、実施・評価されるかについて、仕組みや基礎理論及び概念を学ぶ。後半では、自治体政策について、具体的な事例等を踏まえて、より動態的に自治体政策の実際が把握できるように講義を展開する。扱う政策領域及び事例の解説は、教員が決定するものと、学生の意見もふまえて決定するものと分けて行う。
