Students learn the idea and methods of program evaluation which is a basic theory of evaluation. Specifically, they understand the relationship of five strata of program evaluation and empirical evaluatoin.
Learn about the five levels of program evaluation: needs evaluation, theory evaluation, process evaluation, impact evaluation, and efficiency evaluation, and understand the relationship between these evaluations and policy evaluation.

評価の基礎理論である、プログラム評価の理論と方法について学ぶ。とりわけ、プログラム評価の５階層と言われる枠組みと、実証的評価の関連について理解する。
Students learn the idea and methods of program evaluation which is a basic theory of evaluation. Specifically, they understand the relationship of five strata of program evaluation and empirical evaluatoin.
プログラム評価の５階層である、ニーズ評価、セオリー評価、プロセス評価、インパクト評価、効率性評価について学び、これらの評価と、政策評価の関連を理解する。
