To understand the basic roles and mechanisms of Japan's social welfare system and be able to explain the issues and challenges faced by these systems.
This course aims to understand the current state of welfare issues and social conditions in contemporary Japan. Building on this foundation, students will study various social welfare systems and critically examine their systemic challenges and future prospects, with a particular focus on addressing issues related to poverty.

日本の社会福祉制度について、その基本的な役割や仕組みについて理解し、それらの制度が抱える問題や課題について説明できるようにする。

現代日本における福祉問題の現状や社会状況を理解する。そのうえで、各社会福祉制度について学び、その制度的課題と展望について考察する。その際、とりわけ「貧困」に着目して検討していく。
